Social Strictly Challenge:

This competition is a new mix of high-low, pro-am and dancing in opposite roles, weighting couples around Intermediate. The aim is to bring new partners together, preferably mixing different levels, offering the option to choose your partner, maybe practice a bit before together…

We use a score system for qualification:

WSDC All-star  – 0 points
WSDC Advanced – 1 points
WSDC Intermediate – 2 points
WSDC Novice with points – 3 points
With no points in Novice – 4 points
Opposite role bonus – 2 points (can only be applied once per couple)
(Level is determined by WSDC level, based on the highest level one qualified to compete in.  e.g. a dancer with 16 Novice points and no Intermediate point counts as an Intermediate)

Couples need to have a minimum of 4 points to qualify.

Possible combination examples:
All-star+With no points in Novice (0+4)
Advanced+Novice with points (1+3)
Inter+Inter (2+2)
Inter+Novice with points (2+3)
Inter+All-star in opposite role(2+0+2)
Advanced+Advanced in opposite role (1+1+2)
etc.

One dancer can only compete once in the Social Strictly Challenge, no multiple partners are allowed.
