Myles Munroe & Tessa Cunningham
Myles Munroe and Tessa Cunningham are Canada’s West Coast Swing Champions and the highest ranked international dancers on the NASDE circuit, consistently placing 1st or 2nd in the Showcase division and placing 2nd at the US Open for the past two years. Myles 24 years of diverse dance training includes 6 UCWDC World Championship titles, and Tessa brings academic expertise to the partnership with university degrees in both Kinesiology and Education. As performers, they are known for their cutting-edge artistic choreography, innovative and high-risk acrobatics, and enviable musical expression. Their extensive teacher training and experience and loveable delivery of correct foundational technique inspires and empowers students of all levels. They are ambassadors for modern, authentic West Coast Swing: teaching, judging, performing and competing all over the world.

Maxence Martin & Virginie Grondin
Maxence
Maxence Martin is the only french dancer who reached the West Coast Swing Champion title.
Ex-Champion of judo and black belt, he started his dance carrier in Lindy-Hop. Quickly falling in love with WCS, he started his training in 2007 with the Greatests in California. He reached Champions level in less than a year. Involved in the West Coast Swing community and travelling all over the world to share his knowlegde and his passion for this dance, he was recently rewarded with Award of the Best International Dancer at the Westie Awards Nominations ceremony of 2011. He showed his 2 first routines at the US Open with his famous partner Kelese Key (Texas).
Maxence is one of the most talented, appreciated and kind dancers of his generation.
Virginie
~ is one of the best West Coast Swing dancers in Europe right now, and she is progressively proving herself in the United States. In particular, she won the UK Open and the Midland Swing Open in 2010. She placed in the Champions division at three of the biggest american events : Boogie By the Bay (San Francisco), MadJam (Washington) and Swing Diego (San Diego).
Virginie began her dance training when she was only five years old. Beginning with the rock’n’roll and the Boogie, she moved to individual dances, like modern jazz, classical and contemporary dance. She studied in the National Superior Dance Conservatory and succeeded in the technical final examination. She discovered West Coast Swing in 2007, she’s growing very quickly in the community, thanks to her previous training and her natural talent for this dance.
Maxence and Virginie started a great partnership in 2012 between the two best french WCS dancers. They made finals in the huge Classic division in Swing Diego this year.
Mary Ann Nuñez
Mary Ann Nuñez was the new kid on the block when she took the swing community by storm by winning the first two years of the US Open Swing Dance Championships Showcase Division. It was her natural talent for swing that led her dance career to television appearances as well as many commercials. Since then she has garnished many awards and accomplishments to her name.
Inducted into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame, World Swing Dance Hall of Fame and US OPEN Walk of Fame Legends of Swing. Three Time Feather Award and Three Time Dancers Choice Award winner. Has placed first in many Champion Level Jack & Jill WC Swing competitions nationwide and has accumulated one of the highest female Jack & Jill contestant points in the World Swing Dance Councils Competitors Registry.
Teaches Workshops, and judges Nationwide and Internationally. Is a certified Golden State Dance Teachers Association Instructor. All workshops with Mary Ann will count towards the pre-requisite hours for GSDTA certification.

Myles született tehetség mind táncosként, mind oktatóként de emellett folyamatosan fejleszti is magát gyerek kora óta. Széleskörű tapasztalatokra és elismerésre tett szert a jazz, a balett, a Hip Hop, a színházi musical, a harcművészetek, a country, a latin, a társastáncok és a swing területén egyaránt. Így különleges táncos- és oktatási céljaihoz sokrétű tudását és tapasztalatát is segítségül hívhatja. Rendelkezik azzal a csodálatos képességgel, hogy egy számára ismeretlen táncot 5 percen át megfigyelve azt tökéletesen megismételje olyan technikával és stílussal, aminek elsajátításához normál körülmények között évek kellenének.
Myles Mickey és Ian Munroe legfiatalabb gyermekeként Ontarióban született, ahonnan nem sokkal később Calgaryba költöztek. Szüleivel és testvérével, Tobyval helyi country tánc eseményekre járt, ahol megfertőzte a tánc szeretete. 8 éves korától fogva mindenféle előadó művészetet tanulmányozott, így szeretett bele a színpadba, és különösen a páros táncokba. 14 évesen megnyerte élete első Világkupáját, és még öt másikat, ezek nagy részét Lisa Richardson/McIntyre-rel. 14 éves kora óta tanít, élete több mint felét tanítással töltötte, mégis a Swing új generációját képviseli.
Tessa
Tessa Vancouverben született és Coquitlam külvárosában nevelkedett. Miután egész életében versenyszerűen úszott és zenélt, felvételt nyert a UBC-re, ahol megszerezte a főiskolai végzettségét Testkultúrából , aminek köszönhetően mélyreható ismeretei vannak az emberi test dinamikájáról. Van egy második, tanári diplomája is, ami lehetővé teszi számára, hogy a mozdulatokat lebontsa és elmagyarázza a tanítványainak. Húsz éve tanít és edz testmozgást, tanítási technikájuk tudományos hátterét ő biztosítja.
Mikor Tessa édesapja, Roger elkezdett társastáncokat gyakorolni, a bulikba Tessa is elkísérte, és próbálkozott a követéssel. Így előbb tanult meg követni, mint táncolni. Diplomázás után új hobbit keresett magának, ekkor talált rá a 2Can Dance Company-ra. 1 évet töltött a társastáncok alapjainak elsajátításával az ottani oktató, Ian Kirkconnell kezei alatt. Amikor Ian felfedezte a West Coast Swing jelenséget, rábeszélte Tessát, hogy vegyen részt élete első swinges eseményén, a Seattle Easter Swing-en, ahol ő első látásra beleszeretett ebbe a táncba.
Amikor Myles és Tessa találkoztak…
Myles és Tessa egy vancouveri swing klubban találkoztak, ahova Mylest meghívták tanítani. Tessa és akkori partnere magánórákat vettek tőle, és hamar barátok is lettek. Egy évvel később, immár partner nélkül, Tessa látta vendégül Mylest minden alkalommal, amikor tanítani a városba érkezett. Néhány látogatás után, sikerült meggyőzni arról, hogy Vancouverbe költözzön. Együtt először hazai terepen debütáltak a Sea to Sky Dance Convention-ön 2002. szeptemberében.
Azóta…
Azóta Myles és Tessa forgószélként vette be a west coast közösséget, mind egyénileg, mind táncpartnerekként, oktatással, fellépésekkel, versenyzéssel, bíráskodással, műsorvezetéssel és koreográfusként. Ma együtt élnek Vancouver belvárosában, de a világot járva élvezik karrierjük sikereit professzionális koreográfusokként, bírókként és oktatókként.
Myles és Tessa aktívan törekednek a szakmai fejlődésre, hisznek abban, hogy az olyan szakemberek, mint a tanárok felelősséggel tartoznak a tanítványaik fejlődéséért. A táncos közösség lelkes tagjai, és örömmel fogadnak minden törekvést a művészetek bemutatására és kibontakoztatására. Támogatják a swing történetének oktatását és a West Coast Swing fejlődését, mert tudnod kell, honnan jöttél ahhoz, hogy tudd, merre tartasz. Crossover táncosokként is különlegesek: mind a salsa, mind a Lindy Hop és a West Coast Swing közösségben is otthon érzik magukat.
Táncukat folyamatosan fejlesztik, egyedi WCS táncukért világszerte tisztelik őket. Szenvedélyes elkötelezettjei a West Coast Swing fejlődésének és világszintű terjesztésének, amiért beutazzák Észak-Amerikát, Dél-Amerikát, Európát és Ausztráliát,ahol workshopokon tanítanak, és oktatókat képeznek. Büszkén képviselik Kanadát a világ swinges térképén.

Mary Ann Nuñez
Mary Ann Nuñez újoncként nyerte meg a US Open Swing Dance Championships Showcase divízióját az első két évben, így hódította meg fénysebességel a swing közösséget.
